Overview
Request or opening a ticket is possible from this interface, where any member in the organization can raise a request.
Request Prerequisites

The request feature must be enabled by the administrator for usage.

Proper Roles and permissions should be available to access and raise requests.

At least default teams or categories must be configured to raise a request.
Access Request
The request menu is available as a side menu bar. Clicking it redirects to the Request homepage.
Understand My Request
My Request lists all requests raised by you (the currently logged-in member), with search, and Team/Status filters, plus Date Range and Request Age filters.
Understand Assigned Request
Assigned Request lists all requests assigned to you as the currently logged-in member.
Understand All Requests Access

Non-admin members can see requests of their associated teams if requests are raised to any one of their associated teams.

Non-admin members can also see a request in All Requests if any requester or responder adds them in Share With or Followed By.
Understand Offboarding Request
Important: This tab appears conditionally and is dependent on the Simplified Offboarding feature. It is not universally available.
Search My Requests
Search requests using Ticket ID or Subject.
Filter My Requests by Team
Filter by team is a common filter available across request sections.
Filter My Requests by Status
Filter by request status is a common filter available across request sections.
Filter My Requests by Date Range
My Request allows filtering by date range, showing requests created and updated within the selected range.
Filter My Requests by Request Age
My Request allows filtering by Request Age. Example: "3 days" shows requests created exactly 3 days ago.
Filter Assigned Requests
Assigned Request allows the same multiple filters available in All Requests: Request Type, Date Range, Request age, Assignee, Requester, Tags, and Urgency level.
Reset Request Filters
A reset option is available in all request tabs, which clears search and applied filters.
Important: Search keyword and applied filters will not clear on page refresh and relogin, until you reset manually.
Create New Request

Click New Request.

Select a Request Team (mandatory).

Select a Request Type (mandatory).

Select an Urgency level (mandatory).

Enter a Subject (mandatory).

Enter a Description (mandatory).

Optionally, select Share With members.

Optionally, add attachments.

Click Submit.

A toast message confirms that the request has been raised.
Mandatory fields: Request Team, Request Type, Urgency, Subject, Description.
Optional fields: Share With, Attachments.


Select Request Team
Select a relevant team from the dropdown where the request will be raised; this determines the destination of your request. It's mandatory.
Select Request Type
Request types depend on the team/category you selected, and are predefined reasons configured for that team or department. It's mandatory.
Understand Team-Based Request Visibility
You can see requests associated with your teams. Non-admin members' visibility of other requests is limited to those where they've been added via Share With or Followed By.
View Request Details
To view or modify a request, click View Request, or click the required request directly. Available actions depend on your permissions.
Update My Request
Updates and actions on a request can be made from the request detail interface, according to your permissions.


Add Comment to Request
Adding comments, public and private notes, and attachments to a request is possible from the requester's end, as well as from the assignee and team members of the request, if you hold one of these roles.
Add Public Note
Public notes are visible to all relevant members of the request.

Provide the required note.

Add attachments if required.

Click Send Note.

Important: Maximum 5 attachments are allowed with a note. Relevant members will be notified.
Add Private Note
Private notes are visible only to members who add private notes in the request.

Provide the required note.

Add attachments if required.

Click the Send Note dropdown and select Private Note.

Add Team Note
Team notes are visible only to Request Team members.

Add Attachment to Request
Attachments can be added when adding a comment or note by clicking the attachment button (maximum 5 per note), or when initially creating the request as supporting/proofing information.
Understand Request Status
Requests can be moved through statuses such as Resolve, On Hold, Close, New Reply, and other custom statuses, depending on who is acting on the request.
Change My Request Status

Important: Non-admin Requesters can only open and close their own request.

Admin Requesters can take any action on their own request.

Owner, admin, or similar role member, assignee, and Request Team members can update the status further (Resolve, On Hold, Close, New Reply, and other custom statuses) if you hold one of those roles for the request.
Understand Closed Request Reopening
Important: Once a request is closed, it can only be reopened by the owner of the organization. Non-admin members cannot reopen a closed request.
Change Request Team
Requesters can also change the team of their request, if the requester belongs to the requested team.

Reassign Request to Another Team

In the Request details card, click the edit option beside Team.

Select a new team, and select the reason and other required details.

Optionally, select a new assignee as per the newly selected team.

Click Reassign.
Understand Team Change Notifications
On updating the team, the requester, the new team and its members, and the assignee (if selected) are all notified.
Understand Request Visibility After Team Change
Important: After a team change, the previous team's members won't be able to see the request anymore in their view, unless they also belong to the new Request team or hold owner/admin/similar role and permission.
Add Share With Members
On the Share With card, search and select the required members.
Important: Request Team members cannot be added to Share With.
Update Share With Members
Updating Share With members on a request is allowed to the Requester.

Understand Share With Access

Share With members will get notified for the relevant requests.

Share With members can add comments and notes.

Share With members can change status/team only if they hold admin or similar role.
Understand Share With Restrictions
Important: Added Share With members will not be available to add in Followed By.
Add Followed By Members
On the Share With card (same interface is used), search and select the required members to add as Followed By.

Important: Request Team members cannot be added to Followed By.
Understand Followed By Access

Followed By members can only look over (view) the request.

Any kind of action to the request is prohibited for Followed By members.

Followed By members will get a notification for the specifically added request.

Important: Share With = can view and comment on the request. Followed By = view-only; no actions permitted.
Add Request Tags
Tags are optional keywords which help identify the request type or genre and improve filtering. On the Tags card, type the relevant text.

Update Request Tags
Tags can be added by the Requester, Assignee, and Request Team members (as well as owner/admin/similar roles).
View Request Activity Log
A request's activity is automatically tracked, and the latest activity shows on top. Tracked events include:

When the request was raised.

Who added a comment and when.
-
Who assigned whom and when.
-
Who changed the team and when.
-
Who added whom as Followed By or in Shared With, and when.

Who updated what status and when.
Print Request

Open the required request.
-
Go to Actions.
-
Select Print.

Request details, including added comments, are included in the print. Any relevant member with access to the specific request can print it.
Archive Request
Archiving a request hides it only from your own list view. Other relevant members of the request will still see it as usual.

Click the vertical-dot option of the required request.

Choose Archive.
Understand Archive Permissions
An archiver of the request may be a Requester, Owner, Administrator or similar role member, Request Team members, and Assignee.

Export Requests
Exporting requests requires certain permissions to be available.
Export Current Request View
Requests are exported according to the currently active request tab. Export can include All records or records matching an Applied filter.

Important: Scheduling functionality is only available if you have the required export permission.
Select Request Export Recipient
Requests can be exported to any active members in the organization.
Select Request Export Timezone
Timezone needs to be selected while exporting, which converts the export as per requirement.
Select Request Export Format
Supported formats: CSV, XLS, XLSX.
Handle Large Export Files
Important: If exported data has a huge volume, files are exported as part files.
Receive Request Notifications
You receive notifications related to:

Public and Team notes added to a request you have access to.
-
Being added as a Share With or Followed By member.
-
Team reassignment of a request you're involved in (as requester, new team member, or assignee).

Status updates on requests you're involved in.
Cannot Create Request
Check that the request feature is enabled, a team/category is configured, and you have the required permissions.
Cannot See Request Team
Check your team access and role/permission configuration.
Cannot See Request
Check your team association with the request, and whether you've been added as a Share With or Followed By member, and your role permissions.
Cannot Change Request Status
Check your role — as a non-admin Requester, you can only open and close your own request. Full status changes require being the assignee, a Request Team member, or an Owner/Admin/similar role.
Cannot Reopen Closed Request
Important: Closed requests can only be reopened by the owner of the organization.
Cannot Change Request Team
Check that you (the requester) belong to the requested team, and that you have the appropriate permissions.
Cannot Add Share With Member
Check that the member you're trying to add is not already part of the current Request Team.
Cannot Add Followed By Member
Check that the member is not part of the current Request Team, and is not already added to Share With.
Cannot Export Requests
Check that you have the required export permissions.
