Candidates
The Candidates page is where users can view, search, filter, add, import, and manage candidate records in Simplified
Hire. It provides a complete candidate listing with job association, application date, current stage, recruiter
information, source, AI rating, recruiter rating, and candidate-specific actions.
Common sections like the left menu and top profile header are available on the Candidates page, allowing users to move
across Dashboard, Jobs, Calendar, Talent Pool, Reports, and Settings while working with candidate information.
To access the Candidates page, log in to Simplified Hire and click on Candidates from the left menu.
Overview
The Candidates page displays candidate records in a table format. Users can review candidate details, check the job or
jobs where the candidate has applied, view the current hiring stage, identify the recruiter, check the candidate source,
and review AI and recruiter ratings from the same page.
The page also includes top-level filters, candidate search, advanced search, refresh, Add Candidate, and Import CV
options. These controls help users manage candidates without leaving the candidate listing page.
Candidate Filters
At the top of the Candidates page, users can filter the candidate list using multiple dropdown options.
The available filters include:
- All Locations
- All Dates
- All Jobs
- All Stages
- All Recruiters
All Locations
The All Locations dropdown allows users to filter candidates based on location. The dropdown displays location values
such as Australia, India, New Zealand, United States, All Locations, Afghanistan, and Åland Islands.
After selecting a location, the candidate listing should update according to the selected location.
All Dates
The All Dates dropdown allows users to filter candidates based on date range.
The visible date filter options include:
- All Dates
- Last Month
- Last 3 Months
- Last Year
- Custom
After selecting a date option, the candidate listing should update according to the selected date range.
All Jobs
The All Jobs dropdown allows users to filter candidates by job. The dropdown includes a search field and a list of
available jobs.
The visible options include All Jobs and job names such as AI and Autonomy Engineer Hiring, Adaptive Flight Stability
Drive 03, Automation QA Engineer Hiring, Autonomous Mission Control Drive, Autonomous Swarm Orchestration, and Avionics
Engineer Hiring.
After selecting a job, only the candidates associated with that job should be displayed.
All Stages
The All Stages dropdown allows users to filter candidates based on their current hiring stage. The dropdown includes a
search field and checkbox options.
The visible stage options include:
- All Stages
- Applied
- Declined
- Hired
- Offered
- Unsuitable
After selecting one or more stages, the candidate listing should update based on the selected stage filter.
All Recruiters
The All Recruiters dropdown allows users to filter candidates based on recruiter assignment.
The visible recruiter options include Edward Collins, Guest Alexei Soko, Interviewer Ivan Orlov, Nikolai Sidorov, Owner
Mikhail Volkov, Rahul Chatterjee, and Recruiter Arsen.
After selecting a recruiter, the candidate listing should update according to the selected recruiter.
Candidate Search and Advanced Search
The Candidates page contains a search field with the placeholder Search candidates. Users can type a candidate-related
keyword to search within the candidate listing.
The Advanced Search button is also available beside the search field. This option is used for additional candidate
filtering. The detailed fields inside the Advanced Search popup are not visible in the provided screenshots, so this
section only covers the visible Advanced Search entry point.
A refresh icon is available beside Advanced Search. Users can click the refresh icon to reload the candidate listing.
Candidate Listing Table
Candidates are displayed in a table format. Each row represents a candidate record and shows the candidate’s current
hiring information.
The visible columns include:
- Selection checkbox
- Candidate Name
- Job(s) / Date Applied
- Stage / Attended On
- Recruiter / Created
- Source
- AI Rating
- Recruiter Rating
- Quick View icon
- Candidate action menu
The Candidate Name, AI Rating, and Recruiter Rating columns show sorting indicators. Users can use these columns to
review candidate information and compare candidate evaluation data.
Candidate rows display examples such as Rajashree Khan, Sibasish Panigrahi, Saksham Singh, Arnab Adak, Svyatopolk Garin,
Vihaan Porel, Gavriil Turin, and Taras Lukashin.
Multiple Job Applications
When a candidate has applied for multiple jobs, the Job(s) / Date Applied column can display a combined value such as
Applied For 4 Jobs. The row can also show an expand arrow to display additional job-related information for that
candidate.
Candidate Source and Ratings
The Source column shows how the candidate entered the system. Visible sources include Website, Import, Candidate,
Naukri, and Indeed.
The AI Rating column displays AI-generated rating values where available, such as 4.0, 2.5, and 3.0. If no AI rating is
available, the value may appear as --.
The Recruiter Rating column displays star rating controls for recruiter evaluation.
Add Candidate
Users can add a candidate by clicking the Add Candidate button from the top right side of the Candidates page.
After clicking Add Candidate, the Add New Candidate popup is displayed.
Add New Candidate Form
The Add New Candidate popup contains candidate information fields and allows users to assign the candidate to a job,
enter contact details, add professional information, upload files, and assign owner or recruiter information.
The visible fields include:
- Assign Job
- Email
- Phone Number with country code
- First Name
- Last Name
- Professional Profile Link
- Source
- Country
- State
- Current Salary
- Expected Salary
- Skills
- Relevant Experience
- Total Experience
- Notice Period
- Work Experience
- Education

Assign Job
The Assign Job field is required. Users can select the job to which the candidate will be assigned. The dropdown
displays job options such as Autonomous Swarm Orchestration Drive 01 and Experimental Air Systems Drive 20.
Candidate Contact Information
The Email, Phone Number, First Name, and Last Name fields are required. The phone number field includes a country code
selector, and the visible default country code is +91 with the India flag.
A profile image placeholder is displayed beside the candidate name fields.
Professional and Salary Information
The form includes Professional Profile Link as an optional field. It also includes Source, Country, State, Current
Salary, and Expected Salary fields.
The Current Salary and Expected Salary fields include currency and salary unit selectors. The visible currency is
INR(₹), and the visible salary unit is Yearly.
Skills and Experience
The Skills field allows users to select one or more skill values. The form also includes Relevant Experience, Total
Experience, and Notice Period fields. These fields use unit selectors such as Year(s) and Day(s).
Work Experience, Education, and Cover Letter
The Add New Candidate popup includes separate sections for Work Experience and Education. Each section has an Add option
to include additional details.
The Cover Letter section allows users to upload a cover letter by browsing or dropping the file into the upload area.
Owner and Recruiter
The bottom section of the Add New Candidate popup contains Owner and Recruiter fields. The visible owner is Admin Ayan
Sengupta, and the Recruiter field is required.
Users can click Add to save the candidate or Cancel to close the popup without adding the candidate.
Import CV/Resume
Users can import candidate CVs or resumes by clicking the Import CV button from the top right side of the Candidates
page.
The Import CV/Resume page allows users to upload candidate resumes in bulk.
The visible options include:
- Duplicate Records
- Skip
- Overwrite
- Drag and drop file to upload
- browse link
- PDF / DOCX / ODT file support
- File count indicator shown as 0/10
- Cancel button
- Import button
The Duplicate Records section allows users to choose whether duplicate records should be skipped or overwritten. The
visible selected option is Skip.
The Import button appears disabled until a valid file is added.
Candidate Row Actions
Each candidate row contains an action menu on the right side. When the three-dot menu is opened, candidate-specific
actions are displayed.
The visible actions include:
- Move To Next Stage
- Unsuitable
- Add Note
- Remove Candidate
These actions allow users to update candidate movement, mark a candidate as unsuitable, add notes, or remove the
candidate from the listing.
Quick View
Each candidate row contains a Quick View icon. When the user hovers over the icon, the tooltip Quick View is shown.
After clicking Quick View, a side panel opens from the right side of the page. The panel displays candidate information
without leaving the candidate listing page.
Quick View Panel
The Quick View panel displays the candidate name and current stage at the top. It also includes navigation arrows and a
close icon.
The visible tabs in the Quick View panel include:
- Overview
- Rating
- Files
A View Profile link is also available in the Quick View panel.
The Overview tab displays Basic Information such as Phone Number, Email, Location, Professional Profile Link, Current
Salary, Expected Salary, Notice Period, and Current Role.
An edit icon is visible inside the Basic Information section, allowing users to edit candidate details from the quick
view context.
Candidate Profile
Users can open the full candidate profile from the candidate listing or from the View Profile option in Quick View.
The candidate profile page displays a Back button, previous and next navigation arrows, candidate initials, candidate
name, and star rating area.
The visible candidate profile tabs include:
- Overview
- Jobs Applied
- Event
- Timeline
- Files
Candidate Overview Tab
The Overview tab displays Basic Information for the candidate. The visible fields include Candidate ID, Owner, Phone
Number, Email, and Email Opt-in.
The page also shows a No Files Found area when no files are available and a Tag section where tags can be added. A
visible example tag is New.
Candidate Event Tab
The Event tab displays interview/event-related information for the candidate.
The visible event filters include:
- Upcoming
- Inactive
- Completed
The screenshot shows Upcoming (0), Inactive (0), and Completed (1).
A Schedule Interview button is available in the Event tab. When there are no upcoming events, the page displays the
message Ready to schedule an interview? along with another Schedule Interview button in the empty state area.
